Join the Colorado Ubuntu team as we discuss the final features of the informational insert to be included with the 14.04 LTS Ubuntu installation CDs. The template requires feedback regarding feature and design aspects and is a work in progress. There are upcoming local conferences and networking events with great opportunity to spread Ubuntu and an informational pamphlet to hand out with the CDs is crucial. Please help finalize the project so community members can be prepared with the proper materials to spread Ubuntu effectively. Your support is much appreciated and every piece of advice counts!
We’ll meet at Panera Bread in Aurora at 6:00 p.m.
The location is:
12293 East Iliff Avenue
Aurora, CO 80014
Feel free to email or call Emma if you have any questions!

The release party is now confirmed for Sunday May 2, 2010 to be held at Bar Louie in Westminster, CO @ 5:30pm. Please RSVP this will help me make sure we have all the support we need.
We have the back room all to ourselves with a dedicated bar tender, pool table, and lounge area. I am also finalizing the possibility for an open pool table with them. Bar Louie should prove to be a great venue. They have 40 different beers on tap and a large selection of food and appetizers.
Not only will this event be to celebrate another great release of Ubuntu, but it will also be where I hand over the control of the group to David. After 2 yrs of serving the group with release parties and cd hand outs. Its time to let someone else take the rains.
Tomorrow is our ReApproval meeting with the Ubuntu Council where we will be presenting our Application for ReApproval. This is part of the council’s new review process to make note of what teams have become inactive and/or waining in activity.

Hope to see some of you all there.
